Fortnight Sites

Clinic websites that help patients find you and book.

For physios, chiros, GPs, dentists and allied health practices. Your services, your practitioners and a Book now button linked to the booking system you already use, from $1,500 + GST.

The problem

The phone rings with questions the website should answer.

Do you treat this? Who should I see? Are you open Saturday? How do I book? When the website doesn't answer those clearly, patients ring instead, and reception ends up answering the same questions all day.

Meanwhile the practitioner list still shows someone who left last year, and the services page hasn't changed since the site was built.

What's included

Services, practitioners and a way to book.

  • Your services and the conditions you treat, in your words, tidied up
  • A team page with a profile for each practitioner
  • A Book now button on every page, linking to the booking system you already use, such as Cliniko, HotDoc or HealthEngine
  • Your fees and rebate information, if you publish them
  • Opening hours, address and a map
  • A contact form for general enquiries
  • Your Google Business Profile set up or tidied, so you show correctly on Google Maps
  • Up to four pages, with the domain and hosting set up

No booking system yet? The website with the works, from $2,500 + GST, can build bookings into your site. What I don't do: patient records, intake forms, or anything that collects health information through the website. That belongs in your practice or booking software, which is built for it. I also don't write clinical claims or health advice. If your profession is regulated, advertising rules such as AHPRA's apply to the words on your site, and the final say on those words is yours.

Proof

Work you can look at today.

I haven't built a clinic website yet, so there is none to show. Two live projects of my own are: Blinker, an Australian app with accounts and payments, and StackFall Arena, an online multiplayer game. I built both and still run them.

Questions

The things people ask first

Can it work with the booking system we already use?

Yes. The Book now button links straight to your existing system, whether that's Cliniko, HotDoc, HealthEngine or something else, and patients book there exactly as they do now.

Who writes the practitioner bios?

You send the details: qualifications, areas of interest and a few lines about each person. I tidy the wording but don't add clinical claims, and you approve the final text before anything goes live.

Can patients send us information through the site?

Only general enquiries through the contact form. Health information and intake forms belong in your practice or booking software, which is built to handle them.

Can you add patient reviews?

Advertising rules for regulated health services restrict testimonials, and making sure your site follows them is your responsibility. So reviews are left off unless you confirm they are allowed for your practice.
